I was recently approached by John Curgenven, owner of Better Photographs, who had seen my blog and asked if I would be prepared to contribute a Masterclass on "The Importance of Light" in landscape photography to his site.

Initially I was apprehensive as I don't consider myself an expert on the subject and there is already a Masterclass by Charie Waite on that site, but with John's advice and encouragement I've finally got it done.

Good article including some great shots.
Personally I like using natural light for everything.
You are right about the right light making the landscape and the frustating bit is that you can miss it in a matter of seconds.

Yes, the times that's happened! Learning to anticipate is vital. As the old saying goes, "If you've seen it, you've missed it." :LOL:
