My new lens has arrived. Tamron 28-75

Was pretty quick delivery from Hong Kong (ordered Sunday, delivered today) with no duty, so chuffed with that. And the lens seems ace! It's lovely and sharp. AF seems quick enough for my needs (it's the motor driven one) so this will do a treat until I can afford a 24-70.

Be aware though that if DHL delivered it, you may well get an invoice and duty and tax in about a week's time..hate to be the bearer of bad news but I thought I'd got away with it, until........

Cheers Oh well, even if they do, I'll still have saved a few quid, unless duty/tax is more or about 100 quid (which I saved on importing).

It also looks like Tamron have finally learned to make half decent end caps too.
