Just bought this from Currys £50, so far, so good, really like it, no excuse not to carry one now as it weighs b****r all and seems pretty well built too.

I was the same, went to Currys with my son yesterday, he was looking at TV's and I fiddled about with tripods for 10 minutes, then came home and read a few reviews. Went straight back on my motorbike to pick one up, I took it out last night to give it a good test run (great sunset last night) and love it. I've got 3 dslr's and they're all heavy beasts (alloy bodies) but i'd trust any of them on it. The heaviest camera/lens set up is probably my Sony A77+2 battery grip+55-300mm lens. The legs extend 4 times rather than usual 3, I would probably stick to 2 or 3 extensions for crucial stuff, but 4 seem absolutely fine, can't really fault it for 50 quid.
