Hey all,


I drove up to Leven yesterday to pick up my latest purchases from Kerso... and before we go any further a big thumbs up from me for price and service :thumbs::thumbs:

And this is what I got (No critique on the photographs please :p)

The 85mm 1.8... amazing bokeh!!! quick and sharp :)

I originally thought £1000+ was a stupid amount for a lens but now I own one I can see its worth every penny :)

Oh and I gave my 400D to my stepdad today as I will only use it as a 2nd body when I want it... Hence the mirror photo of the 5DmkII

All I've got to say is everything I got is amazing and I've made a giant leap from 400D and kit lens and I don't think I ever want to go back!

Bokeh: is background blur.

Depth of field: is the amount of the image sharp either side of the point of focus. Bokeh is acheived by having a limited depth of field.

/looks down side of sofa just in case someone droped a couple of grand down there!
 
You're set up is almost similar to mine, I have the 17-40L. The 85 1.8 is fantastic and amazingly underrated. It's one of the sharpest lenses I've ever owned.
 
The hoood is fine! ... But It's been a great bit of kit over these last few days :)!

I have looked for Kerso but can not find much about him I looked at a link to ebay but it was empty.
Can you help me please
 
PM him on here, type kerso into the search bar and there should be a thread called items sold or something... or go to members list at the top of the page and look for him there :)

Just got my 5D mk II delivered from Mr. Kerso this morning... saved over £200 on shop prices :thumbs:

Already loving those 21 mpixels and 25mb RAW files (although my 2gb cards will be struggling, need to pick up a 4 or 8gb. I'm glad I bought that 1tb USB hard disk last year though!!)

Got my eye on a 16-35mm L now :(

Like I said, you're a very bad man.
