Yes
thats not too bad i remember some on here had growth on his lens! get the rocket blower to get rid of most of that!

In case rocket blower doesn't do the job, and you want to know eher to buy cleaning stuff (if you don't already know):

I can personally recommend cameraclean.

I made a pinhole attachment from a T2 mount, it really showed up the dust on my sensor, I was amazed how bad it looked.

I second Strobemonkey.. in fact I bought a wet cleaning kit from them and it came with a rocket blower too.

I just looked at a normal pic on mine and realised it was not in a good state

And for a complete numpty like me who's got shaky hands - how do I get my sensor cleaned without sending me dear old box away?
Any shops you can walk in and get it done?

I have got a blower, but, I think its a bit rubbish so I will get one of these rocket blower thingymajigs.

Also, is the sensor cleaning easy to do?

This is somethign i'd be interested in knowing.

There's loads of videos in youtube. Loads of cleaning methods and the way to do it on the net via google.

Practice makes perfect.

I'm not joking about the hand shakes. If sensors are as fragile as I'm told they are I'd be a fool to try it. And I need an AC adapter for the D100 which costs upwards of £65 before I could anyway. If I had one I probably would be fool enough......

I think a cleaning kit would come later on - you'll need a brush and shovel first!!

If anyone's interested and lives local, LCE in Lincoln are doing free Sensor Cleans this Thursday Afternoon

:woot::woot:

Loads of videos to watch here before you DIY.

I was also hesitant when I first cleaned my 400D's sensor. I did loads of reading and video watching.
It took me 30 minutes with buckets of sweat the first time. Used x50 (fifty) :bonk:pec pads too.

I use rocket blower first, if it doesn't help, the next step is to use Arctic butterfly, then if it doesn't do the job, the last resort is wet cleaning.

I also find these links helpfull:

Hi
Can any one tell me please? I have a 1D and a 5D, Is it possible to use Eclipse 2 on both sensors? Or do you need both types?
