My take on the Reds at Leuchars

Here is my take on the Reds at Leuchars. I took a shedload of fotys, a lot of which were too early or too late but the joys of fast fps means some were spot on. I tried for a different sort of look to the usual Red Arrows shots, I think some have worked really well...
Please comment and critique as you see fit.

9. On this one, I messed with the levels and got this odd but colourful effect quite by accident. I quite like it though.

10. And last but not least, my personal favourite, shot almost directly into the sun.

You might want to try picking your shots next time, rather than just wild machine gunning, you'll find you take less photos and get better overall quality.

I suppose it helps when you know the routine and can be prepared for a certain shot coming up. Only time I really let fly was on the synchro pair trying to catch THAT moment when they passed. Deffo pot luck on that one.

Amazing shots John. I really do like the last one though. It's a bit different from the normal red arrows shots of the coloured smoke.
