We went on Saturday this year to be greeted by dismal grey skies leading to poor light and a couple of no shows as a result of poor visibility. Got a couple of usable shots but generally a disappointment. Fortunately we only live a couple of miles away so I decided to walk in again on Sunday [thus avoiding the horrific traffic!] and got much better results. Sadly the Mitchell had been and gone by the time I got there and the planned parachute drop from the Dakota was called off due to engine problems necessitating a landing at nearby Bruntingthorpe.
Used my D800 and D300 along with an 80-200 f2.8 AF-S and 300 f4 +/- TC-14EII.
