My website is being visited by someone or something 6-7 times a day

It started a few days ago with a 2-3 minute visit that originated from a google of my domain name and looked at many of my pages. Now I get a 10 sec visit 6 or 7 times a day just of my home page. The IP is 93.96.121.14 (Glasgow and Mac os, is the info it gives). But what is this? I presume some kind of bot, but how and why, and should I do something about it? :shrug:
 
Why would you want to do something about people visiting your site? Looks to me like someone has set it to their homepage - chillout :thumbs:
 
It's registered to bethere.co.uk. It's a domestic broadband IP address in Slough UK, so just a normal web user most likely. Up to you whether you block it. Might just be your biggest fan - or stalker...
 
Someone could have it on there most recent sites in Safari which shows 16 pages and checks if they have been updated.

Simple Rule of Thumb of WWW - If you don't want anyone to see, don't publish. :naughty:

LOL, I'm not wanting to stop people visiting, I just wondered why something or someone was repeatedly visiting just my homepage for a few seconds 6-7 times a day. I'm happy for everyone (without malicious intent) to visit it. In fact 68 of you guys and girls have so far today now :cool:
 
webs is very good at keeping track, makes me think about starting up again with a website.

Andy - Yes, Webs uses Clicky to track stats, it's free and great to keep track of. Their templates are ok too (as is mine), although I use Jalbum for the clients' gallery.
