No. 1 would prefer to see a bit more space around the bird, it looks to tight a crop.

No.2 is stunning, I love the wing shape :D

To crop or not to crop and how much,Its always a problem.

Nice set of something different Rich (y)
The crops do not bother me too much, in fact in this instance the tighter crop put`s more emphesis on the shape of the wings imo.

Thanks Rich it was just something i dreamed up one night to isolate the birds using a white background. We get so many bland skys that part was easy most of the shots were taken off the back of a boat with the 70-200mm f4 i.s
