NAS or file server for storage & backup?

Send the MB and cards to the recycling. Landfill will be no good when the fracking starts.
 
Yes, I wanted to make fun of that too, but the word "fracking" was irresistible.
Seriously though it's good that you bring that to peoples attention. But, it would be counter-productive if everybody stopped recycling because of it.
 
It's related but I'll start a new thread if nesessary, I fancy a pi project, could I build a file server with one?
