Yes
I have a 2 TB My Book Nas which is getting close to being full - would it be best to buy a bigger one or can the storage be incresed by plugging another drive into it?
Thanks

You can use either an external USB hard drive or a NAS.

I came across this recently, one for those who like to tinker & do their own thing. It will run OpenMediaVault (OMV) NAS software with a single 3.5" HDD.

They also make a version that uses a 2.5" HDD (or SSD). At around £65 per unit plus the cost of HDD storage it's quite an interesting bit of kit. Could be useful if you have an old HDD lying round too.

Synology all the way....they have a useful NAS configurator on their site, and have a RAID like system that supports different size drives (SHR) very useful if in the future you need to replace a drive.

Also they have great software support, with a variety of plug ins/apps to undertake automatic backup/cloud access etc

whatever you do matey make sure you have a way of backing it up properly and effectively.
