National Fireworks Championship 2010

Seeing as these are hosted on my Flickr I thought I'd share.

I took these last August at the National Fireworks Championship in Plymouth. All the photos were taken on the second night (didn't have my camera with me the first night). It was my first time shooting fireworks with the 7D and I was quite pleased how some of them came out.

I'm no expert, but that first shot is awesome!!

I would be very pleased if I'd taken that myself!

I must investigate national fireworks championship as ive never seen what i would call truly spectacular fireworks! And i would love to!!

One tip I would give if anyone is thinking of going this year is to get there early!

The first set starts at about 9:30pm, I got there at about 6:00pm and all the good vantage points had already gone.

This years championship is on the 16th and 17th of August.
