NC Filter

We all know about UV filter and i not gonna start debate about use or not use since we all know the story anyway.

What about NC filter? possibly the Nikon one.

Does the NC filter have glare/flare like UV filter?

Just for protection aren't they? It's the same argument as using a UV some do some don't.

if is exactly the same as UV filter then i not gonna bother with them. Just use the lens with no filter. Just been told by some pro that uv will cause problem but NC doesn't.

I think nc is just glass solely for protection there is no coating to it. Maybe wrong?
