Nd 110 filter - P size square or circular?

I want to get a ND110 filter but don't know which type to choose. I have a P size filter holder with square filters already, and thought this would be the best one for me as I can use it on any lens as I have adaptor rings for all, but I am now having second thoughts whether a circular one would suit better. Is there any real advantage in either type or is it just personal preference? I know there can be colour bias tendencies with different brands. I am only interested at this stage on which type to buy. Square or round.

I would say square,as it's a right pain having to screw/unscrew the filter to recompose or take an exposure reading.i used to have a B&W 10 stop filter,but will be getting a slot in square one which fits my lee filter holder.formatt/hitech make a 10 stop that fits the P holder that you have,and it retails for around the £70 mark.
 
Agreed, its incredibly tedious setting up a shot with perfect focus, screwing in the filter, knocking your tripod, unscrewing the filter, refocusing, screwing in the filter again, reviewing, adjust exposure, knock the focus ring, unscrewing, refocus, screwing back in, reshooting etc etc.

Square filters are much more convienient.

My filter size is 85mm not 100mm which I think you refer, to fit P size holder, and I see they are £45-50 depending on retailer. :)

Yes I made the decision and purchased the Hitech one today at £48. I was pleased to see it has an exposure guide with it to make the conversion a little simpler. Now all I need to do is find some flowing water to practice! ;)
