ND filter for 30mm 1.4

I have just bought another Sigma 30mm 1.4 for a holiday in Croatia and I was out shooting at the weekend and I found that I was hitting the max shutter speed. Can anyone recommend what strength ND (1 stop 2 stop, or more?) and a brand? I don't want to spend too much as I will be selling on the lens after the trip, but I bought the 30mm to use at F1.4 so feel I need this filter.

Go for an ND2 and an ND4 and if you need to stack them both together in strong light just do it. Just buy cheapo ones off the net and as long as you shoot RAW you'll be able to cope in the unlikely event that you get some colour cast.

I bought cheapo ones branded 7dayshop and they seem fine. With both stacked I've never run out of shutter speed yet.
