ND Filters: Where is best place to buy from

I have a Sigma 24mm f2.8 which I want to use with 6 or 10 stop ND filters for the obligatory b&w sea/lake shots with groins etc :D

The lens has a 52mm fitting.

WHE do B+W ND's for £36+shipping (for both 10 and 6 stop :shrug:) but I was hoping to pay less than that because I don't think I will use it that much but if I have to pay that then I will.

Can anyone recommend an alternative source or brand that is cheaper?

I also have access to a cokin wide angle holder but not sure how well that will work with the square filters and light leakage?

you mean 82mm? (since sigma don't make a 24mm f/2.8, and your sig says 24-70)

I'm not sure about filters for that size but i know the cokin P's are no good for anything over 67mm....and going by my set they aren't great either.

No I mean 52mm and Sigma do (or did) make a 24mm f2.8 because I have one! Something on the lines of Sigma 24mm f2.8 Super Wide II

You could try Calumet - they do their own brand (which means they get one of the makers to put "calumet" on the filter ring!) Not tried them, but everything else branded by them is from one of the reputable makers of that kit.

Otherwise Hoya make good NDs - they do an X400 which is 10 stops, coated filter too.
 
Only B+W make six and ten stops ND in screw fitting, which is what you need to prevent light leaks. They are expensive.

Hoya X400 is just under nine stops and special order only (and more expensive, but coating is worth having).
