ND Grad 125x100

Currently using 7d (crop) with a 17-40L

Will i have any issues using 125x100?

And is there any advantages of using 150x100 instead?
Such as to have more space to play with.

Any info would be great

You'll be fine with 100mm wide filters on a 17-40, I use a 17-40 on full frame and don't get any vignetting, even with a 2 slot Lee holder built up.

As to why you would need 100x150, it just gives you a little more room to move the graduation up and down in the frame, more critical with hard than soft edge grads.

I recently ordered some grads and went 150 route...I am fed up of not buying the right kit the first time.....( within reason of course )
Might have some 85mm wide filters for sale soon lol
