Hi all, I'm new to filters and need some guidance. I know what they can do as I can use the grad tool in LR however I want to try actual filters out.
I got myself a set of these last week and gave them a bash however I was on a beach with rough sea and they got covered in salt... bad move. Anyway I have just cleaned up and they are good to go again.
It's more so the grads I need help with as I have used welding glass a good few times now with good results. I know the set I have is cheap but I want to give them a go before I lay down serious money. So does anyone have tips on getting the exposures right, what do I expose for? The scene, lock in the settings add the grad? Or the other way round? A nice how to guide would be great if anyone has one/link/video?
Many thanks
