Anyone know what the problem is with the supply of 100mm filters been trying to get a Cokin Z pro ND8 everywhere seems out of stock and has been for weeks the same with Lee, although I don't really want to mix manufacturers I would if it ment I could get a 4 stop ND filter. Whats the problem:bang::thumbsdown:

ND8 is three stops, ND16 would be four stops.

You're better off with screw-in dark NDs, as you need to seal them to the lens to prevent light leaking around the back.

Yes you are right ND8 is 3 stops but I find the ND 2 and 4 are OK don't seem to get light leaking in, I have wrapped a black cloth around them when I have stacked them which is why I want a ND8. I use screw ins (Heliopan) for 10 stop and they are fine. Still does not answer the question why are Cokins in such short supply.

Well no idea really, but it seems to be the case that just about every one of the darker ND filters on the market is in short supply.

Everybody wants to do it.
