Need a bit more security...

Hi, my new lens arrived yesterday and I went out today for a test.

Now I use a Quickstrap (sling type camera strap) and I've had no issues with the strap, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend or knows of some kind of strap that I can attach to one of my camera carry strap hooks/loops and to the Quickstrap housing for some extra security if the strap comes out of the tripod mount.

Hard to write what I mean... but hope it translates??

I use an OpTech "arrangement" so that one part attaches to the strap lug on the body and the other part attaches to the bit on the Quickstrap (or BlackRapid strap) that doesn't screw into the tripod mount.
The two short straps then click together. I've got a similar arrangement on the tripod in case the body becomes detached from ballhead.

I think there is very little risk of a strap coming off the tripod mount as long as you check it every so often. My Blackrapid has not loosened at all in the 6 months I have owned it. Adding extra security straps could compromise flexibility when shooting.
