Need a good Contact application for iPhone

OK, as a follow-up for the To Do application; I am looking for something that is a bit more customisable than the inbuilt one .. .. not as strong / powerful as ACT!

Or better yet, if there is a suit of applications, Contacts, To Do, Scheduler etc.,and if it syncs with entourage, then perfect.

Yes, young man, I have; but if I wanted something from my own search I wouldn't be here asking for other's input :shrug:
 
You're right, you wouldn't. But then again you might not have done a search, right? Amazing what you can do if you had the advantage of hindsight eh?

Just so you know, not all threads need to come to an end with the desired answers! If I find what I am looking for, with the help of anyone here, then all fine and great. If not, at least I've tried. The one thing that's certain so far is that you've added no value to this, other than silly bumps!

So please either :help: or how about you do something constructive, like a search and may be post a link or a name of something of recommendation. Helps stop this thread from becoming the "epic fail", and may be makes the laugh more pleasurable.

Otherwise, it seems that you're just enjoying boosting your post count with silly comments that are useless!

What the heck? Re-read the thread. If anything you're the one that's been rude. I offered a suggestion and you replied the way you did.

I don't have an iPhone but have you searched for an app called "Fast Contacts" ?

For some reason or another you took my suggestion for searching the app store as some sort of insult. Not sure why. It was a genuine suggestion. Did you search Google? Have you tried any other contact management apps? Might stop people from suggesting things you've already tried and disliked.

Wail... it might help to know precisely what you are looking for over and above the supplied Contacts system... ;)


There are plenty of Apps out there but they all do different things so it depends on what you are looking for entirely... ;)

Suggesting that I do a search on the app store isn't a very helpful bit of input! Also, suggesting that implies that I haven't.

But that's only half the issue .... let's say for argument's sake I've done a Google search and come up with a list of, say, 3 such applications. What's to tell me if they're good or otherwise? The ratings there? How do you value a rating that's done by someone I don't know?

Hence, this is one of the reasons why forums like this exists! To share knowledge and experiences :thinking:. So, unless I go about trying out all the applications that I come across, how would I know which is good? Rather a futile exercise.

Now, as I do like the mentality of many here; and I like the feedback I usually get. It would be a lot better for me, and probably for others, to hear what other's experience in this field may be.

That's about it with your suggesting to do a search.

Oh yes, I have search the forum here, and nothing came up that I recognised.


Your other comment "This thread is epic fail. ...."; forgive me for not being able to see anything helpful, constructive or meaningful in that.

So, other than getting a few post count increase; please tell me how did you help me in my search?
