Need a good filter

I am in the market for a filter, one that will make the sky darker keeping the foreground regular. I like blue sky's and dramatic clouds. Typically I would like one of those screw on ones. Don't have a single clue about brands prices or filters in general! But I don't want to spend a fortune (maybe 40euro).

I would be grateful if you can help.
 
I would look at cokin filters. cheap to start venturing into effects. 121 gradiant would help.
 
I think you want a circular poloriser filter. Have a look at the hoya or marumi range.
 
A circular polariser will help but I would imagine if you want dramatic clouds etc that most are done in post or by HDR.

I know and HDR is good but I am looking foe something to minimize editing and get good skys on camera.
 
If you want a good filter then this is the best - LINK. Ot this one is supposed to be pretty good - LINK. For value this is a good choice - LINK. Anything cheaper is probably not worth getting.
 
TBH I think you are going to struggle on 40 euros, I went the lee route with a set of soft ND grads plus a CPL adapter for the lee foundation kit and a B&W kaessman 105mm cpl, iirc it cost approx £600
