Hi
I need some advice. I mainly use my 70-200 2.8 L for most things. I could do with something around 17-55 or 17-70. I do have a 50mm 1.4 which I absolutely love but find the fixed focal length restricting. I also have a wide angle but only use that for landscapes really.
I'd be using the 17-70 (or whatever) for everyday general purpose shots where the 70-200 was too long. I don't want anything which struggles to focus though. (I met a chap at an event the other day and he'd got a Sigma 150-500 (I think) and he was quite disappointed with it.
I am willing to swap (if I can), my 1.4 (Canon) so would value a second hand lens in the same price range.
