Need help with Aperture

Hi all
I've just started playing around with Aperture in an attempt to enhance some photos. However, I think I've overdone it (see below). Would love some feedback on the photo itself as well as my attempt at PP.

try the sliders in levels first make sure the left slider (black ) meets the histogram then the right slider (WHITE) is not running off the histogram the middle contrast slider (grey) looks like it needs to move just a touch left ,the sharpness looks a little over done as well ,you can google how to in aperture any techniques you will always find a answer

Lovely shot! Well done in capturing it without motion blur. Can we see it in colour?

I wish I had it in colour but shot in b&w *slaps own wrists in shame." I've learned my lesson and know to shoot in colour and alter to b&w in PP.

Looks a little over sharpened to me, I always shoot raw and do any PPing and conversions later
