Need new camera..

Evening!

Have been mainly offline for about a couple of years, but have enjoyed my Nikon D80 during that time...Have had to part ways in recent months so now am after another camera.

I could pick up another D80 for £150 on ebay but having had one for the last five years, wondering if now is the time to take the opportunity to have something else? I could stretch to around the £500 mark..but its been so long since I looked at cameras, I'm lost as to where to start. I'm taking a leap and saying I'm 'intermediate' level, and I have my lenses still from the D80.

Any help or advice or encouragement would be great

A nikon D90 can be had for £419 brand new.
Or slightly more advanced D300s for about £500 used.

Or D7000 £400 - £500 used and new.

D7000 is a fine camera.

another vote for D7000 as you can use the 'cheaper' AF lenses with it.

I could easily be persuaded to put a mint D90 with a ridiculously low shutter count in the sales section.
