I've been pricing up tripods, and thought best to get a decent one that i can be happy with.

Just spotted a manfrotto 055 CLB with 200 head and bag on fleabay for 100 quid.

Looks a good buy to me, do the big boys agree?

You didn't provide a link, and I don't know what a 200 head is

MF 055 is a very good tripod. Google around to see if the price is right. The head, whatever that is, is a very important part of the decision, and the price.

Oops, the 200 head is a manfrotto one.....:shrug:

That's why I asked - Manfrotto don't make a 200 head as far as I know. What is it?

Having had about 9 billion tripods I settled on the 055pro b that has seved me well for 12 plus months but you need sherpas to carry it on a long hike...
visit snapperfish... its on the forum and get yourself the carbon pod for 120 beer tokens and the ball head... Id bet my big toe on the fact youl be hartliy impressed and you can amaze friends and family alike with you choice of fine kit... failing this buy a paul daniels childrens magic kit ( it says on the box amaze your friends and family) and paul has a face you can trust right??
No seriously im swapping mine for the carbon pod and grabbed the ball head a week ago for 44 beer tokens and its a stonker, way better than my manfrotto and gitzo heads
