Need urgent help with editing

Have got a photo which I took yesterday which needs to go off to the local paper tonight/tomorrow morning at the very lastest but I was a pillock and must have had the wrong settings and overexposed the sky slightly. I've tried to edit it as best I can but it still looks pap. I've now gone round and round in circles at have made it a lot worse

Can anyone help, please?

Many thanks to those who have pm'd me and pxl8. Can the mods close this now as the kind offers I have had are great.
