hi i need a very cheap flash so was wondering if anyone had any ideas i have a canon 500d
i have been looking on a auction site but i dont know what ones would be compatible for my camera

Have a look at the YongNuo flashes. You can get them very cheap on eBay and they are cracking flashes for the money. Just make sure you get a Canon fit one and it'll work with your camera.

what about a jessops flash would anyone recomend those i think i would be able to strech to one of those
