Needs some words of Wisdom Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM

Hi Everyone.

My wife and I are interested in getting this lens to use on a 5D mk1, we both have 5D mk1's and already have a 70-200 L IS. We did a practice wedding shot using the 70-200 & 24-105 L IS and found the 24-105 didn't have the reach we wanted. We don't want to duplicate any of the lens we already have and wondered if the 100-400 would work well inside and out of the church? and idea's.

Bit of a slow lens, and I can't really see why you would need that much reach tbh.

Inside the church you will struggle usually.. outside it'd be fine, but as said, it's rare you would ever need 400mm!

Get a tele converter for the 70-200 if I were you though I shoot weddings with a 5D MkI and 24-105 and it suits me! But I guess that's just down to your style of doing things.
