No
I'm noticing that I occasionally cut a bit squint or in slightly the wrong place if the negs are thin at the edges of the frames when I'm trimming my negs into strips of 6.

I think I have seen gizmos that aid the cutting of negs, hink I have seen ones that magnify (possibly not much use to me) and ones that measure but I can't find any of these on ebay or second hand darkroom so I'm wondering if I really have seen them or am I just inventing hem right now?

I presume labs will have something to do this but that might be a hugely expensive piece of kit or integrated into the processor whereas I want something small and preferably, cheap.

Maybe I'll have to make it myself.

Aye, I have a small rotary trimmer that might do the trick just I thought there'd be a specific thing for the job, built to allow easy measurement (and repetition of that measurement) and constructed such that there'd be no danger of scratching negs etc.

looks as if Carl may have found your answer

Oops, decided I couldn't wait so ordered a cutter, 2 packs of 25 neg sheets and a Paterson print dryer.
