This is quite an old shot of mine which i thought id get some feedback from.

This is taken from a dingy little underpass near the Leas Cliff Hal in folkestone, which i think is being renovated at the moment.

For me, although it is appears nice and sharp it comes over a bit dark and not really any particular focal point to keep my attention. Not quite sure it is the right title either...it is neglected but the graffiti is somehow the thing that priorities my thoughts rather than the neglect of the actual wall. Could imagine it more as a backdrop for a busker, a model, a tramp etc.

A good subject, but I would say that the image is crying out for some post processing to make it really work.

I like the subject matter... however I would have like to have seen the shot taken straight on so you could juxtapose the horizontals and verticals of the mortar joints in the glazed tiles (and the missing ones) with the diagonal of the handrail, the randomly sprayed graff, the rust and the light catching the edge of the tiles from the left.

for me I might increase the contrast or even the saturation during post processing
