Neoprene lens covers

I dont know if neoprene would be any good, I think it may attract dust and the likes, also doesnt neoprene contain oil to stop it drying out?

I have a WWS cover on my 300mm. Thicker compared to the Lens Coats ones, also cheaper. You shoot Nikon so you're looking at a Lens Coat one as WWS only seem to do the Canon 70-200s.

The protection does mean the lens is minty fresh still but the cover it's self does pick up a bit of dirt.

I have one of those that Gazj mentioned, they are good at covering the lens etc... They can be a bit of a hindrance though as you can't see the red dot when changing lenses. Also the hood cover slips around a bit.
