Likely to drop after Xmas or not?

Wanting to get a Samsung NC10 and PC World have them at £239 after cashback at the minute. Any industry types know if that could go lower in the sales? It's a xmas present but i'd rather wait a few days if it will save a bit of cash.

you could gamble on after xmas sales, to be honest a lot of places are already in sale so i cant see a lot of places dropping much more?

re vat - its hard to say at the moment what some retailers will do.. some will put their prices up others will absorb the 2.5%

Have you looked online at PC World at the refurbed range of netbooks?

They have a reasonable range at good prices

Hmm probably have to stump up the full price for the NC10 at PC World.

Oh and i'm only interested in the NC10, need the battery life for jobs where I have to edit on the spot. Will probably upgrade it to 2gb too so it can cope.

Well Santa's bringing me an NC10 from PC World Just need to work out how to get this cashback now.

I have been looking around at netbooks...

I found that alot have dropped prices due to them having XP or Vista..

Most that have Windows 7 were about £299

Got this one in Tesco HP Mini Notebook for £279....

Fast enough for surfing net and word processing...
