Something i never usually use at all is a flash in wildlife photography. Im not dead set against it however i have never needed it. I have just booked a few nights at The Great Glen Lodges and have been told by the owner the Pine Martins visit most nights when its getting dark. I believe they get very close so i wont need the big lens but will need a flash unit. I only have the SB400 flash on the camera but not really sure what settings to use as i dont want crap pics but also dont want to scare the Pine Martins--so any ideas for a starting point.
