New 16mm "Fujicron" announced

Looks identical to their previous wr primes, but smaller. I wonder why they didn't go F2 like the other 3?

"...capability of operating at temperatures as low as -10°C"

Really? My Canon stuff was fine at -30C so I wonder why they felt the need to mention this???

Might well have been fine, and this Fuji lens possibly will be too at the same, but was the Canon advertised as such? Gear often out-performs the manufacturer's spec sheet, batteries are a good example of this. They state 300 shots per charge, you get 700 in the field

Because on a wide angle lens it grows quite a bit in size, and would obscure the OVF of the X-Pro series

A lot of lenses will do so then, as this one is tiny. I wonder how much bigger it would have to have been? the 23 F2 is also very small
