Right, I bought myself a new bag not so long ago (Lowepro Nova 180 AW Shoulder Bag) but having added a 70-200 f4L and a grip (which I would like to leave connected to my camera!) for my 40d my bag is too small! I also have future plans to consider (perhaps a prime or 2, including a telephoto). So, what would you recommend? Its got to be comfortable to carry and easy to access. Having a littleun, most of my photography is done on the run and I don't have time to fiddle around with a complicated bag.

Thanks in advance!

I would say a redsnapper duo just got one and it is a very comfy bag with plenty of room.

I think Marcel did a review of it with some images. It holds all the stuff I had in my Expedition 5 backpack.

I like the idea of a sling bag, however I don't think the 100 will be big enough. I will have a look at the bigger ones. I would love to keep my 40d gripped if possible. I will have a look for the redsnapper review.

Anyone else?

I recently bought a SlingShot 302 AW when I upgraded my kit.
Kit wise it holds my 50D, 24-105, 70-200L IS, 10-22mm (and a hood) and a 1.4x extender.
It will also hold at least one more lens and I also plan on getting a grip as well.
There is also plenty of room for accessories as well.
You can also attach a tripod to the side of the bag as well.

Thanks for that. Just a quick question about the size of the bag? Is it big or bloody huge? Despite reading all of the measurements I just can't picture them on a person!

I don't consider it to be huge, it's about the same size as my mini trekker.
It easily swings to the side to access your kit and I find it very comfortable using just the sling strap without the waist strap.

Thanks for that. It does sound like what I am after, although its a little more than I wanted to spend. Lets see what this months pay packet holds! Ooh, and don't forget Barnes!
