new body for studio????

hi guys currently have a 5d classic (mk1) looking to trade it in towards a dirfferent body

i mainly take studio shots at low iso settings but have quite a limited ares ( my studio is very small) so like the full frame type cameras

i was originally getting a 5d mk2 as they have just had a fairly decent price drop however a spanner has been introduced

i was talking to a pro and he insisted that a 1ds mk2 is cheaper used and better for pure studio shots although he acknowleded that it was older technology and didnt use video (which im not really worried about)... i have never used a 1ds i like the look of them tho

my question is really simple for pure studio work at low iso would you go for a used 5d 2 or a used 1 ds mk2 ?

oh i already own sever ef lenses ( 17-40 l, 70-200l)

basically i bought a 60d in ocotober as a backup used it in the studio and it performs fantastic! basically there is nothing wrong with the 5d classic at all and i had a chat with someone earlier who recommended i get the 24 105 l as they said it works fantastically well on the 5d classic as well as the 5d mk2 so would be a better investment than a body at the mo as he said the 5d ii is due to go down again in the new year in the used market so have been advised to wait until new year but am pirchasing a 24 105 l from these forums to try and breathe new life into the 5d classic for a bit
 
For studio work I'd only go with primes. An 85mm 1.8 with the classic 5D is an awesome combination and inexpensive also :)
