New body help...

I currently own (and still love) a D80. I'm thinking of getting a newer body for high ISO capabilities and using my 80 as a backup. I'm looking in the price range of $1000 (650ish pounds).

I'm thinking of either a D90, pushing for a D300, but haven't had much experience with say a D2x. Any thoughts?

Hi i was in the same situation,had a look at the D90 nice camera but was'nt interested in video mode, i went for the D300 awesome bit of kit don't think you'd be dissapointed

P.S i still love my D80 too

I would say jump past the D90 and get the D300.

You could think about a D2X, but definitely buy a D300.
