Hi all
I'm now in a position to upgrade some gear. I have some cash to spend, but not lots and lots.
I currently have a 400D with kit lens, Sigma 70-300mm, Canon 17-85mm IS and a nifty fifty.
I can afford either a nice new 70-300(ish) lens for motorsport on my 400D body, plus possibly some other wee small bits and pieces (L glass is out of the question).
Or do I upgrade my body to either a 40/50D (2nd hand), then sell my 400D with kit lens and Sigma 70-300 and get a Canon telephoto zoom lens? And if so, 40D or 50D?
