New boiler conundrum

How many manufacturers are there? I would guess that there are probably 2 or 3 actual manufacturers who have a few brands each in the same way that there are very few washing machine manufacturers with most being badge engineered to serve different price points.

This very day I have agreed to have a Worcester Bosch boiler installed in my bungalow.

Initial contact with Boilercare, Norfolk was Tuesday this week. Install is Monday the 11th, finish is Tuesday. 10 year parts and labour warranty.

£2400.00.

Quick update.

New boiler install finished yesterday afternoon, complete system flush and magnet filter installed.

The engineer did a cracking job, no mess, very tidy.
