Inspired by a thread on here last week, I had to go and visit this lighthouse for myself a few days ago.

very nice, #2 is the pick for me.

It's called Perch Rock lighthouse, you have probably upset the Wirralites by saying it's in Liverpool :)
 
OOH. Wish I'd have known you were going - you must have passed near here on your way. Looks like I'll just have to go again!

Nice shots; I like the second - an angle I've never tried. Time to get the tide tables out!

Lovely! I particularly like the first one. I really need to get to that part of the country for a shoot one day!
 
As a sucker for wide angles, I think #1 would be better with a bit more sky on top and more of the breakwater over on the left, not a lot more mind, but a really good photo.
#2 is a great shot, lovely colours.

Brings back some childhood memories as I used to go their on summer holidays with grand parents and uncles who lived nearby. Where did the Lido go

The subject is very close to the top of the frame in all the images, it needs a little room 'to breathe'.
