So excited my FIRST DSLR has just turned up.An Olympus e520,just cann't wait to use it.New to all this photography lark.Battery hurry up and charge,i need to get to grips with this now !!!
 
Good time to sit down and read the manual! :)
 
+1 for reading the manual. Also see if there are any user videos about. I know Canon have some and i learned many a top tip!

Congratulations very nice I used to be with Olympus until this year then moved to sony :)

Out of curiosity, why did you change to Sony Rudy?

Also suggest trying youtube for videos; they quite often have some decent footage on individual camera makes/models..
 
Hi alleysun I changed to Sony because I had an Olympus E-1 kit lens & Sigma 55-200
but the results with the Sigma were absolutely rubbish & I though I could do with an upgrade & the only olympus'si like are the E-620 E-3 & E-30 which sadly are all to pricey for me so I found a really cheap deal on this Sony & I have to say the quality is great!

I still have Olympus for compact cameras as they are the BEST :D
