new camera now need a new lens

just bagged myself a lovely canon 60d body only
any suggestions for a lens in the 15-135mm range
i was thinking the 15-85 or the older 17-85
what are peoples views on the 18-135 lens as i dont here many people mention it

I've got the 18-135 as my walkabout / travel lens and I love it.

Great iq and versatility and a very good IS system.

The 15-85 and 17-55 both have the edge on iq but cost considerably more!

Not had any experience with the 18-135, but I used to have the 28-135 USM IS lens and I found it a great focal length for me and really likes the lens / results I got.

Something else to consider

If you dont need the length then how about a Tamron 17-50?

i have had a tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and could do with something slightly longer
found the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS Macro HSM as well to add to the mix
