Yep I agree with the above unless you are finding the 4.5fps limiting I would invest in a lens..by the way is there such thing as a fast 28-300mm

Thanks for the advice guys. Guess equipment lust is getting the better of me ref the new body!

I want a fast lens as the 70-200 I have is a bit too slow (Tamron) and takes soooo long to focus on action shots.

Then you've answered your own question perhaps if you're not getting a new body you could get a teleconverter for the 70-200 too?

I have answered it and then asked again a number of times :bonk:

A good 70-200 2.8 with a TC should suffice for now. Off to the for sale section now....
