So i am looking at getting a new main body for my day to day work (Angling, Outdoors, Studio and Sport/gym). I currently have abused a 5d mkii for the last 5 years for filming and photo work. Now my work seems to be leading towards the video side, so i really want to be able to get a better quality video and frame rate really.

Im probably looking towards the second hand market with a budget of about £1500 and have looked at possible bodies like the C100, 5d mk3 (not sure if il notice the upgrade enough), Sony Alpha a7rii or S models.

What should i be checking out or leaning towards in you opinion?
 
I assume you're invested into Canon glass therefore the 5D3 is the obvious choice, from what I've read it was a significant upgrade.

You can use Canon glass on the Sony A7's via an adapter but I wouldn't want to be shooting sports with it. The Sony would be better for video though.
