What should you do with a new CF card, load and shot or format in camera first, or something else.
 
I just load in camera and soot, never erase off card allways reformat.
 
Put in camera and format.

I always reformat, just the way I've always done it and never had any issues.

I always format new cards too, take some test shots, transfer them to computer and reformat again. Just want to make sure everything is working before I take it out and use it on a job.
 
Thank you, I will Format the card first then as said take some shots download to computer and then format again in camera. Sounds just right.
