Hi All,
My Canon Powershot S80 decided to go for a swim yesterday and now does not work... what a supprise! I dont think there is much point in trying to get it repaired as technology has moved along, so i was thinking of getting a replacement.
The S80 took great photos and the 28mm wide angle was great! The downside was the lack of RAW generated files, a small 3.8x optical Zoom and a slow FPS.
Im looking for a new Camera dont mind makes or models, up to around £300 maybe a bit more or less which ever way. Its got to be compact, as i have an SLR and dont want to be carting something as big around with me. Preferably RAW and JPEG caputres and a good image quality.
Due to sensor size i am aware that there will be a loss in terms of quality, however i dont want it to be very poor. The camera will be used primarily by my dad who will use it as a point and shoot, and me now and again when i dont want to take the SLR out.
Any suggestions from anyone or sample pics?
