Looking good for a new dslr.
What F top did you use?
To give the black and white abit more 'drama' you could desaturate the photo, then use selective colour and up the black to bring out the blacks in the photo.
Is it a disused factory? Looks like some geat indoor shots could be had!

Tried out my new camera today c&c welcome.New to this game
Nice subject. Thought it was lacking a bit in contrast so I adjusted with shadows and highlights and then sharpened it a bit. Just my personal opinion though. Enjoy your new camera.
I thought that looked familiar! The old mill in Gilford isn't it? I have been thinking of venturing in to it but it would need to be done on a weekend as there seems to be workmen around it during the week.
The shots seem to be lacking contrast. Try upping the contrast and tweaking the levels to brighten it up a bit.
