My current photography gig is;
Studio Photography with my fiancé in our home studio (Using Hasselblad X2D II system)
Outdoor photoshoots again with my Fiancé Nam Fon (Using Hasselblad X2D II system and sometimes Nikon ZF)
Travel and walk about photography (Using Nikon ZF)
The lenses I use with the Nikon ZF is a mixed bag of;
Old Nikkor manual lenses (135:2.0, 105:2.5,& 55:1.2),
New Nikon Z40:2.0,
Leica M lenses (90:2.0 APO),
Thypoch M lens 35:2.0
Voightlander Z mount 50:1.0

I just sold my Nikon Z9 and Z800:6.3 so this is where I think the GAS is coming from.........I fancy that new Leica M EV1 to replace my Nikon ZF. I could sell the Nikon ZF replace it with the Leica M EV1, buy the F to M adapter and still be able to use all the above lenses except for the Voightlander and the Nikon Z40:2.0

Am I just a crazy old fart or cute

Well, to be annoyingly rational, what is it that you need that your present set up doesn't give you? If the answer is "nothing really" then, save your pennies. :cool:

As a happy Leica owner all I’ll say is that you have to accept you’ll be bent over by clever marketing guys from Wetzlar, fantastic cameras, vastly overpriced, life’s short go for it.

You know you're going to buy it so just do it!

If you are a Leica fan, the only maybe main negative I have read about is that the MF focus peaking confirm, (the coloured focus confirm appearing in the VF or on the screen and in parts of the image) can be inaccurate (very occasionally) resulting in (slightly) OOF shots - I have also noticed this very occasionally using an EVF on my M240 .........it can be annoying ......but it could be just my "old" eyes and i'm now not the best when focusing Leica M cameras
