B&W New Growth.

Looking for bugs etc among my Pieris shrub bed, i focused on this little stem, not sure if its a fresh Pieris stem or not, but i liked it.
Colour version didn't work for me so converted it in Silver Efex.
I am still getting to grips with Macro shots but love the challenge but its so dam frustrating at times trying to get a crisp clean shot.
Single shot, not progressed into stacking yet, maybe one day.
Light was strong from the sun, but used flash as it was heavily shaded.
Any comments welcome.

Nice work Mike. Interesting leaves on this plant and I think the choice of mono emphasises that. Not usually a big fan of B&W, but i think it's justified in this case.
